Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park

This is the largest conservation game park in Uganda which covers approximately 3,800 Sq. Km. It is famous for the thunderous Murchison falls which are a main attraction for visitors. The falls are created by the River Nile bolting through a raised narrow rift gorge before thunderously tumbling down more than 40 meters.

Other tourist attractions are the endangered Rothschild Giraffes whose population has grown to more than 1000 animals. The boat cruise activities involve viewing the Nile crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, water buffaloes and various species of birds that nest along the river banks.

The games drives through the game parks will offer an unforgettable experience in the vast game reserve which is a relatively flat landscape where lions, giraffes, elephants, antelopes and packs of lions will be encountered.

There is the Budongo forest in the park which is famous for chimpanzee trekking. .
