This spectacular Kidepo valley national park is located in the furthest north eastern part of Uganda along the eastern arm of the rift valley of Uganda. The Park is estimated to cover approximately 1,440 sq. Km
This Park is one of the undiscovered parks in Uganda with stunning landscapes, lash savannahs and a variety of wild animals like African elephants, giraffes, ostriches, hippos, buffalos, wild dogs, leopards, lions and cheetahs.
Birding is an activity that must be done for one to sight from more than 200 species of birds in the park.
Along the slopes of the Morungole Mountain, visitors can expect up close interaction with the native Karamajong and Ik people who have a rich history and cultural lifestyle that has been shaped by decades of normadic pastoralism and expeditions of cattle rastling in neighbouring tribes as far as Western Kenya.
