Kibaale Forest National Park

This National Park borders the Queen Elizabeth National Park and is famous for being a habitat for the Chimpanzee.

The main activity at this park is Chimp tracking through the Kibale forest. It is estimated that there are more than 1000 Chimps in this park which offers a visitor the opportunity to come close to one of the most elusive primates.

The Park is also famous for the rare monkey species like the grey cheeked mangabeys, red colobus and L’Hoests. There are also other animals like giant forest warthogs and antelopes.

Other Park activities are nature walks while enjoying the stunning views of the Mountain Rwenzori ranges and birding over 200 species.
